3 weeks!

Ok...so I've been told that it's been about three weeks since I last updated the blog. Shame, shame, I know...I have many excuses though...we have been VERY busy (I know...who isn't?), and I've been working so much that I think I've developed a real aversion to my laptop now...I haven't been wanting to touch it when I am home now. Not to mention that I am so tired every evening (my alone quiet time), that I've been going to bed at 8:30pm...doesn't leave much time for blogging, I guess. Ok...enough excuses- on to what we've been up to the last few weeks.

Mike went down to NY for a weekend, and then I went to KC for another weekend. While I was gone, Mike's friend, Paul, came over with his kid, Karsten, to play with Jonathan (his mommy was out of town too). Here's a cute video from their visit (another use for the ball pit):



This past Sunday, we all went to the Lake and had a great afternoon together. Sylvie's been talking a lot more, and Jonathan loves to imitate her. This video shows Sylvie saying "A-Bah!", which we think means 'a bite', and Mike trying to get Jonathan to say it too before he takes a bite.



Jonathan has been in preschool for almost a month now and he's growing up fast and has new sayings every day. Like today, he drank water after his lunch and said "Now, I'm washing it down, Momma!". New expressions every day :)

At 15 mo of age, Sylvie's two favorite things are her toothbrush and shoes...she tries on all the shoes she can get her hands on, and manages to put her crocs on all by herself!
